I was given the challenge(?) of putting together a board of my dream using items from DECASO. The challenge was an unlimited budget if that can be considered a challenge. I love pink, palest blush pink. It is an elegant color that is almost a neutral. Here I’ve stuck to a pretty monochromatic color scheme of ivory and pink. An interesting texture in the wing sculpture and a statement coffee table give that wow factor needed for monochromatic rooms.

Living Room Moodboard Homage to Marilyn
I know I usually post moodboards on Monday, but the Monday holiday has the week a little messed up. I hope everyone that celebrated Memorial day, at least my American readers, had a safe and happy weekend.
So as an homage to the screen goddess Marilyn Monroe, June first was her birthday, I’ve created a girly living room that is sophisticated and classy. Enjoy!
Complementary Color Scheme
Another great way to create a color palette for a room is to use complementary colors. One of my favorite color combination is blue and orange. You can use different hues of blue and orange. In rooms with a coastal style coral and blues look fabulous. Teal and faded orange were used as the accent colors on this moodboard to create a complementary color scheme.
Pink is my favorite color and I would love someday to visit France. That was the inspiration for this moodboard. I love the leopard print rug; it could be used in any room.
