Boy’s Dino Bedroom
It is fun to design and decorate children’s rooms. You can go a little more themey than in the adult rooms. Dinosaurs, princesses, fairies, or pirates. Go wild when decorating your child’s room. That being said, while the ship or pumpkin carriage beds looks fantastic, the child will not always be 4, so pick furniture that can grow from toddler to teen. Accessories, decor and paint are where you can incorporate the theme of the room. The decorative items are more practical to change when the child outgrows the Spiderman phase.

In this young boy’s room a dinosaur theme was used. The color navy was used as the main color in the room, which can grow with the child as it not too childish or trendy. The bedding is in the navy and grey so it can be used long after the dinosuar phase is gone. Using furniture and bedding that is not themed is also a money saver. Spend the room budget on the furniture and other pieces that make up the bones of the room. Just use themed items on pictures, lamps, pillows, and other decorative accents.
